The Ibero-American University (in Spanish: "Universidad Iberoamericana, UIA", also referred as “Ibero”) is one of the most prestigious private universities in Mexico and Latin America. The UIA is a higher education institution with widely recognition of an international-grade level of excellence, which it is sponsored by the Society of Jesus. In 2009, the UIA received the SEP-ANUIES Award as the best private university in Mexico. The main campus of the UIA is located in the Santa Fe district of Mexico City (CDMX) where its installations are built in an area of ~20 hectares (~200,000 m2). Besides the excellent undergraduate and graduate education programmes and the remarkable infrastructure available in the Campus (classrooms, laboratories, conference and seminar rooms with live streaming media, and workshops in physics, chemistry, photography, psychology, engineering, communications, architecture, design, and nutrition), the university houses the library “Francisco Xavier Clavigero”. This library has a collection of more than 400,000 books and journals, which enables to be recognised as one of the largest university libraries in the country. As a particular highlighted feature, the library has one of the largest law libraries in Mexico (Source: Wikipedia). Other facilities on campus include sports fields and related conveniences, a medical centre, several cafeterias, on-campus bookstores, a stationery shop, bank branches, and other university stores.
The District – Santa Fe
Santa Fe is one of Mexico City's major business districts, which is located in the west part of the CDMX in the Counties (boroughs) of Cuajimalpa and Álvaro Obregón. The Paseo de la Reforma and Constituyentes avenues are the primary means of access to the district from the central part of Mexico City, as well as the rapid highway of the western “Supervía”. Santa Fe consists mainly of high-rise buildings surrounding a large shopping mall, Centro Santa Fe, which is currently the largest mall in Latin America. The district also includes a residential area and three university campuses, among other facilities. Within the Santa Fe district is located "La Mexicana" park, which is a wonderful ecological space for healthy recreation. "La Mexicana" park is frequently visited either for walking or biking through its 100 thousand square meters of ecological areas, 62 thousand square meters of grass, and two artificial lakes and wetlands.

Bank facilities, cash machines and banking services may be found in the installations of the UIA. Most of the national and international banks - branches (VISA Electron, mastercard, etc.) may also be found surrounding the installations of the UIA. Additional options for mostly all the bank branches may be also found in the Shopping Centre Santa Fe.
